Shipping, returns & care

Made by hand, so no returns or exchanges. Arrived damaged? Email us within 48 hours, with photos.

Wood is not waterproof. Use a coaster under cups and wipe spills right away.

Cleaning: dust with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Skip soaking, harsh cleaners and alcohol: they strip the finish. More in the wood care guide.

Wood is a living material, so grain, color and tone vary from piece to piece.

Made in small batches: we make the Wood Collection a batch at a time and ship it from our studio. While a batch is open, the ships-by date shows next to Add to cart.

How it looks at home

A note from our studio

“We are all from the same tree.” Tristan said that to me while we were choosing the wood for every piece. We cut, fit and finish each one by hand in our workshop, so no two grains match. Made by hand, one small batch at a time.

— Maisy

Inspired by the Korean soban.

A soban is a small portable table, light enough to carry so you could make a quiet room wherever you sat down. The Zen Tray brings that idea home: a stage for tea, a journal or a candle, from the desk to the nightstand.

It’s the portable base of the Cozyleigh Ecosystem, so the Zen MagSafe Charger Stand, puck and Fa Trinket Tray stay put on it. We cut each tray from three tones of solid wood from our local lumber yard, then sand it, brush in a hard wax oil by hand and buff it with natural-bristle brushes for a soft sheen.
