Solid wood, made by hand in our studio
The Zen Tray, inspired by the Korean soban. The Zen Desk Shelf, inspired by a torii gate. And the Zen Book Stand, our redesign of a family bookstand, held together by a Japanese tusk tenon, with no glue or screws.
The wood comes from our local lumber yard. We cut, sand and finish every piece by hand.

Looking after solid wood
Dust with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh cleaners and alcohol, which can strip the finish. The Zen Tray is also a portable base for the ecosystem, so the Zen MagSafe Charger Stand, Zen MagSafe Charger Puck and Fa Trinket Tray stay put on it.
Solid wood is not waterproof. Wipe spills promptly and use a coaster under cups.
