when drawing this, i was heavily inspired by this quaint and peaceful street called 琉璃厂 (liu li chang) in the heart of the Beijing where the locals would buy all things Chinese calligraphy/art: brushes, ink stones, carved stone stamps, calligraphy paper, embroidery materials, etc. no tourists, no touristy spots. just peace, culture, and simple living 🌾

i went there a couple of times to buy my own calligraphy materials, and drew this piece to hopefully recapture the warm feelings I felt there 😌

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
