A second life: small surface marks, works perfectly. Everything we make passes through our hands, and handmade means no two pieces come out exactly the same. This one came out of a batch with a small mark that doesn’t meet our finish standard. It’s purely aesthetic and doesn’t change how it works, so we give it a second life here instead of letting it go to waste. Each one may look a little different from the photos. Available while supplies last.

Sizes: Medium 32″ × 15″ (81 × 38 cm) · Large 35″ × 18″ (89 × 46 cm).

Colors: Beige, Blush, Latte and Matcha, all soft and muted. Latte is a warm, soft brown with a hint of rose in person.

Pro or Standard: the Pro has a hidden sheet-metal layer, which is what the Zen MagSafe Charger Stand, Zen MagSafe Charger Puck and Fa Trinket Tray snap onto; it’s rigid and ships flat. Shipping, returns & care

Made by hand, so no returns or exchanges. Arrived damaged? Email us within 48 hours, with photos.

When it ships: these are finished pieces, so they leave in 1–3 business days.

Care: wipe the linoleum with a soft cloth and mild soap; refresh the wool with a lint roller or fabric brush. Spot clean only, and keep it out of long direct sunlight. On the lighter colors, things left in one spot for a long time can leave a mark, so lift them now and then. More in the care guide.

Linoleum is a natural material, so every mat has its own subtle texture and variation. That’s part of what makes each one yours.

A note from our studio

Linoleum is a natural material, and every so often a mat comes out with a faint line or a corner that isn’t perfectly crisp. It’s still two sides, still made by hand in our studio. We’d rather it found a home with you than went to waste.

The mark

Our mats are cut from furniture linoleum, a natural material, so a dent, a faint line or a subtle ridge can show up on the surface. Yours will have its own; the Imperfectly Perfect page shows the kinds we see most.

Work on one side, wind down on the other

Natural linoleum on one side, smooth and matte under your keyboard, mouse and notebook, and it wipes clean. Turn it over for OEKO-TEX® merino wool, soft for reading, gaming or a warm mug.
