A note from our studio

We launched the stand on August 18, 2023, and every one found a home that night. We honestly couldn’t believe it. The colors change with the seasons, so if one feels like yours, it may not come back the same way.

Size & details

Fits: made for the official Apple MagSafe charger (sold separately). Third-party chargers vary in size, so please check yours before ordering.

In the box: the stand, its puck (the part that holds your charger) and a small pop-out tool for taking the charger back out.

Ecosystem: magnets inside let it snap onto the two ecosystem bases, the Pro Desk Mat (stationary) and the Zen Tray (portable). Nothing to stick or attach. How the ecosystem fits together →

Care, shipping & returns

Care: mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. Avoid alcohol and harsh cleaners. More in the care guide.

3D printing builds each piece layer by layer, so you may notice faint layer lines or small surface details. They’re part of how it’s made and don’t change how it works.

The story

A stone in the sand.

This one started with a very unglamorous problem. Most nights I unwind with video games, and my phone was always about to die right when I wanted to look up a guide. A MagSafe charger fixed the cable, but not the propping up, and every stand I found just didn’t look like anything I wanted on my desk.

I’ve always loved how a Zen garden sets one stone in a circle of raked sand. Brainstorming with Tristan, it clicked: the MagSafe charger could be the stone, and the stand could carry the waves. Getting the cable fit, the magnets and the weight just right took eight months of prototypes.

Each stand is 3D printed in plant-based PLA in our studio. We set a solid block of metal inside for weight, and magnets so it snaps onto the Pro Desk Mat or the Zen Tray, then polish every one by hand. It comes with its puck, which holds your Apple MagSafe charger (sold separately), and a little pop-out tool. The design is our own, protected by U.S. Design Patents D1,025,901 and D1,076,805.
