Hi everyone! Maisy here 🍃
Over this past year, I’ve been busy designing our studio space from the ground up. What was once a cold, concrete rectangle is now a cozy creative sanctuary that makes you feel calm & inspired once you walk in.
Oh man… we moved furniture all over the place and kept rearranging things ALL YEAR until it finally felt just right. A year later… I can finally say I’m in love with how our cozy studio turned out. It really feels like Cozyleigh Studios.
I’ll be doing a full studio tour series on my YouTube channel and in my short-form content. But in this post, I wanted to start off with my new cozy office inside the studio!
I’ll be going through what’s on my desk in different sections, to make it as clear as possible. This desk setup was honestly more challenging to design than my desk at home, because I wanted this desk to not be against the wall.
When your desk is facing a space, it actually has better feng shui — your back is against the wall, and you can see what’s going on around you. But because of that, the desk setup needs to be extra clean and intentional, otherwise it can quickly start to look like a mess.
This is where I’ve been spending my days in the studio — when I’m not working with my hands in our workshop or relaxing in the studio lounge. I can’t wait to keep creating new Cozyleigh creations here 🤍
Cozy Desk Details
Standing Desk
I love how this desk feels more like furniture than an office desk. The maple is so warm, and it really anchors the whole space.
Chair
Steelcase Gesture Chair in Persimmon
Comfort was non-negotiable for me. This chair supports me whether I’m sitting, standing, or leaning in while designing.

What’s On My Desk (mostly my designs from Cozyleigh 🤍)
It’s double-sided, made with the softest Merino wool, and magnetically compatible with our Cozyleigh accessories.
Zen MagSafe Charger Stand — Matcha
I use this to charge my phone.
Zen MagSafe Charger Stand (puck only) — Caramel
This one is for charging my AirPods.
Cozyleigh Zen Desk Shelf (final prototype)
The pillars inside the desk shelf are actually moveable, which creates this really seamless, customizable look.
I love storing books in here, but honestly I also just love the design of it.

Cozyleigh Book Stand (coming soon)
Hoping to launch this by March 🤞
I love displaying my favorite reads or books that are currently inspiring me. I really believe that having things out — but giving them a home — makes a space feel more intentional and helps me actually remember they’re there.

Keyboard & Accessories
Keycaps
I designed these using all my favorite earthy colors — shades of olive, matcha, peach, and terracotta — to create a little landscape that feels zen and cozy to me.
The artisan keycaps are illustrated by my sister, @mysweetchubs, and feature tea, orchids, and oranges.
(restocking hopefully in April! we make these in partnership with Osume)
Keyboard
Mode Loop TKL (no longer made)
Wrist Rest
Custom granite wrist rest.
I had a local granite shop cut this for me, and I love the earthy, grounding touch it adds to the desk.

Everyday Objects
Cup
Mine actually broke 😭 but I fixed it using the kintsugi method. I cracked it while washing dishes in the sink, and now it feels even more special to me.
Ikebana Vase
From Etsy
I made this ikebana arrangement over Valentine’s Day weekend. It includes a phalaenopsis orchid, willow branches, and alstroemeria.
I’m still very new to flower design, but it’s something I really want to get better at. I love the idea of bringing nature indoors and learning how to blend it into a space beautifully.
Books On My Desk
A Dictionary of Color Combinations

Ambient Lighting
Table Lamp
This sits on the sideboard to the left and gives the space such a soft glow.
Wall Light
Cantilever Wall Light — Gantri
Overhead Light
Thank you for reading, and comment below your thoughts on my new setup :)
