These are Fa trays that came out of a batch with a small mark, like a faint layer line or a lid that sits a hair differently. They hold your little things just the same, so we give them a second life here.
Fa (花) is the Cantonese word for flower. This little tray takes its shape from the traditional Chinese four-petal motif, and its lid is an ode to the gaiwan (蓋碗), the lidded tea bowl.
A gaiwan’s lid, bowl and saucer stand for heaven, humanity and earth. On your desk it’s the same idea: the lid on top, the tray in the middle holding your everyday things, and the Pro Desk Mat or Zen Tray underneath.
Stacking
Fa trays are made to stack. Each tray comes with one lid, and you only need one per stack, so add as many trays as you like and keep one lid on top.

- Size: 102 × 102 mm; 36 mm tall without the lid, 42 mm with it
- Includes one gaiwan-inspired lid
- 3D printed in matte PLA in our studio, with a solid block of metal inside for weight and magnets set in by hand
- Snaps onto the Pro Desk Mat and the Zen Tray, no adhesive
- Polished by hand, so no two are exactly alike. You may notice faint layer lines; they’re part of how it’s made.
- Care: mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. Avoid alcohol and harsh cleaners.

A Note About 3D Printed Pieces
Our Fa Trinket Trays are made using precision 3D printing, giving them their signature sculptural look. As part of the process, you may notice subtle layer lines, faint seams, or small surface details — these are completely normal and part of what makes each piece unique. They do not affect function or quality and are a reflection of the hands-on, small-batch craftsmanship behind every item.
Examples of Slight Imperfections
Example 1
This lid has a noticeable gap between the print layers, creating a line on the surface. It's fully functional, just not quite up to our usual finish!
Example 2
The side of this tray has faint vertical lines where the print deviated slightly from the design. It’s not noticeable in everyday use, but it can be seen in the light or up close.
Example 3
This one is from our very firsts of the Fa Trinket Tray — before we refined how we print the base. The bottom is fully functional, just a little more raw than our current version. A small piece of Cozyleigh history, in a way 🌸
